Senior Center - Bill Radisch Computer Center for Seniors

A computer learning center for adults 50+ or adults who are permanently disabled, hoping to build a community of individuals who use computers to make their presence known in the world and to improve the quality of their lives and their community. Our Computer Center is a division of the Greensboro ShepNet and the activities are coordinated by Linda Collins (336-992-0591). Classroom space is located at the Senior Enrichment Center, 130 E. Mountain Street.

Classes are small (never more than 6 students, each with a computer) with coaches. Instructors use a projector to demonstrate tasks to be done by students. Questions and discussion are encouraged so that no student gets lost!

Class and other activity schedules are arranged monthly according to volunteer teacher availability. Most meet twice a week (M, W or T, Th) for three or four consecutive weeks. Course fees are $15 to $35 depending on length of course. A tutorial guide and other materials are provided.
